About WPHX – SouthShore Community Radio

WPHX 101.9 FM is a local, non-profit, listener-supported radio station broadcasting in Ruskin, Florida as part of what is known as the SouthShore community. “The Phoenix” is one of just a few broadcast stations in the country connected to a community-based cultural center—and the only one with a mission to provide a full range of arts and education experiences for all ages.

Our Mission:

WPHX is a link to the community and beyond, providing a variety of arts, music, education and information programming that connects people to each other, to ideas, experiences and resources.

The station will broadcast performances, workshops, visiting artists, music and special events scheduled at the Firehouse Cultural Center, as well as a variety of programming that engages, informs, educates and inspires listeners.
